Lexi is a Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter and musical theater writer. She will graduate from Berklee College of Music in 2022 with a Bachelor’s of Music in Songwriting and Musical Theater Writing. Lexi writes in many genres including pop, singer-songwriter, country-pop, folk-pop, musical theater, and contemporary Jewish.
Lexi is very involved in the contemporary Jewish music scene and was a finalist in Season 1 of Jewish Star National Talent Search in 2019. In July of 2020, she released her first original Jewish song, “Shalom Rav,” which debuted on Jewish Rock Radio on the Emerging Artists segment with Joe Buchanan. Lexi has been a songleader at Temple Judea in Tarzana, CA, Temple Shir Tikva in Wayland, MA, and Gindling Hilltop Camp in Malibu, CA. She hopes to continue writing, songleading, and teaching her original Jewish music to people all around the world!
In addition to her many Jewish songs, Lexi plans to release her first secular EP before the end of the year in 2020. Her musical influences include Sara Bareilles, Carole King, Ingrid Michaelson, Christina Perri, and Ed Sheeran. Lexi is so excited to be pursuing every part of her musical journey and can’t wait to share her new work with you all!
